Zulily is an online retailer that specializes in discount shopping. Through ordering surplus inventory directly from brands, Zulily’s model passes big savings directly to customers.

As an in-house designer working in Zulily’s marketing team, I primarily designed email assets, on-site branded assets (such as gift cards), and off-site assets (advertisements, Instagram posts, TikTok videos, etc).

Holiday 2023 Campaign Design

From October to December, Zulily launches its annual holiday shop that features toys, apparel, and more for the gifting season. This cheerful and bright creative direction takes a more holistic approach to the holidays, with playful typography and simple iconography.

Motion ads created for year-round promotion
of Zulily’s unique offerings, which include up to 65% off every day and exclusive deals on top brands.

Using a mix of vendor product photography and in-house studio photography, each ad speaks to the variety of products that Zulily offers across different customer demographics.

As a way to test Zulily’s messaging, we created a set of cheekier, more playful ads to subvert the idea that Zulily’s products and prices are a scam.

Frugal Friday Campaign

Concept, creative direction, and execution for a recurring promotion with a different deal every week. Assets created for social media, email, SMS, and on-site placements. Later renamed to Friday Special.
